The Innovation Excellence Framework

Based on leading academic thinking, decades of experience nurturing innovation, and assessments of how thousands of organizations manage innovation in both the public and private sector, the Innovation Excellence Framework has been carefully developed to enable organizations of all sizes understand what they need to do in order to achieve innovation excellence. 

It can be used as a guide to design and establish an organization’s innovation management system, to help foster innovation, or to assess innovation and innovation management within any organization.

It is descriptive in nature – describing what excellent organizations do rather than prescribing specific practices –allowing for different approaches to be taken as appropriate to meet the requirements of excellence in the given context.
