We are pleased to announce the launch of a new course on the Management Ecademy, the Understanding & Managing Risk Masterclass. The Masterclass aims to give participants a comprehensive understanding of risk and challenges much of what is taught on other risk courses. The course takes 12 to 14 hours to complete and counts as 12 hours of Continual Professional Development.
John Bourke, the Institute’s President, says “We’re excited about this Masterclass as it is unconventional. It is designed for business leaders and managers (all of whom need to understand risk) and not just for risk managers and it is not only theory based – the course requires you to take risk. We have also taken risk in developing the Masterclass as it critiques common practise and conventional wisdom (which will make it unpopular with many risk managers) to ensure that it delivers maximum benefit for those who take it.“
