Excellence Hall of Fame 2018 Inductees Announced

The Business Excellence Institute is delighted to announce the successful candidates, elected to the Excellence Hall of Fame for 2018. The Induction Ceremony is a Black Tie Gala Dinner with a “fireside chat” that will take place in the Shelbourne Hotel, Dublin, on Thursday, 19 April 2018. Our congratulations to:

Julia Chang Bloch – Former U.S. Ambassador & Founder, US-China Education Trust
Julia was the first Asian-American to serve as an ambassador for the United States. She had a distinguished career as a public servant before being appointed U.S. Ambassador to Nepal – where she served during its transition from monarchy to democracy – and later working in the corporate and non-profit sectors. She serves on several boards and has been a visiting Professor in both Peking University and Fudan University. You can learn more about her here.

Marie Lindsay – Principal, St. Mary’s College (Derry, Northern Ireland)
Marie is the Principal of a state school in Northern Ireland that serves a community that faces numerous barriers to learning including poor economic conditions and the challenges of rebuilding society after 30 years of conflict. Under Marie’s leadership, students from the school are now earning entrance to Universities including Oxford and the school has won numerous international accolades. Raomal Perera – Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship, INSEAD
Raomal is an engineer turned entrepreneur, turned educator. He was co-founder of ISOCOR that was listed on the NASDAQ in 1996 and later founded the mobile commerce software company Network365 (now part of Intel) which was listed by Time Magazine as one of Europe’s Hottest Tech firms in 2001 and 2002 and which won the Wall Street Journal Innovation Gold Award for business. He was appointed an Adjunct Professor at INSEAD in 2007. You can learn more about him here.
