Michael Sutton elected a Fellow of the Institute

We are delighted to announce that Michael Sutton has been elected a Fellow of the Institute.

Michael is a multidisciplinary scholarly practitioner with experience in design thinking, information systems, knowledge management, education and games. After working in business and management as an executive and entrepreneur, he began teaching and is an award-winning author of papers on educational technology and business. He is an internationally recognized thought leader on Game-Based Learning. Despite being a fan of innovative and disruptive approaches to education, he has been invited to teach as an Adjunct Professor at a number of universities in the U.S. and is a research advisor for the Harvard Business Review.

Michael holds BIS in Management Sciences (University of Waterloo) and a Ph.D. in Knowledge Management (McGill University). He served as a judge for the Institute’s International Business Learning Games Competition in 2017.
