Individual members of the Institute are expected to comply with our Code of Conduct which is built upon the Institute’s values. It governs the conduct of the individual.

Members are required to maintain and enhance the good reputation of the Business Excellence Institute by implementing and observing the following requirements. The member is obliged to and undertakes to:

Maintain exemplary standards of integrity and honesty in professional life (including compliance with all relevant laws and regulations).

Maintain exemplary standards of authenticity in dealings with others.

Maintain exemplary levels of ownership, taking responsibility, accountability and pride for what one does and, accordingly, acting with due diligence.

Strive for excellent results on behalf of all stakeholders, giving fair and proper consideration to the interests and requirements of each in accordance with strategy.

Avoid any action or inaction that might bring the Business Excellence Institute or its members into disrepute.

Note

Members who do not comply with this Code of Conduct may be subject to disciplinary action including suspension of benefits and expulsion.

If a member of the Business Excellence Institute is aware of any breach of the Code, they are required to notify the Institute. Failure to do so will, itself, be deemed a breach of the Code.

Notification of breaches of the Code may also be brought to the attention of the Institute by non-members.
